A History of the Minisink Region

We first heard of this book when we were republishing some of the local history classics of neighboring Sullivan County, NY. When we obtained a copy, we moved this project immediately to the top of our to-do list.  Many of the historical events that affected what was to become Sullivan County affected the Minisink Region of Orange County as well.  Many of the family names are found in both locations. 

We have compiled a new and complete index of this classic work -- it was the least we could do, since the original had no index, and the one index we found elsewhere is sadly inadequate. We're glad to provide our new index for use online.  Please respect our copyright and the work that goes into an index such as this.  We hope it is useful to you. 

Stickney's important history, including the index we prepared, is included on our CD-ROM entitled Minisink and Port Jervis.  The CD also includes additional material useful to anyone with an interest in the area or the people who once lived there.
